As a qualifying law degree (QLD) this course provides the core knowledge necessary to progress to the Legal Practical Course (LPC) or Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC), if you want to become a solicitor or barrister. In your final year you can choose to take the CILEx Graduate fast-track diploma, which will allow you to go with further professional experience.

Entry Requirement for LLB Hons Law Degree

The academic year usually starts in September. To proceed with this law degree, the student must fulfil the following entry requirements:

  • English and Maths Language GCSE at grade C/grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
  • A minimum of grade BBC in three A levels (or a minimum of 112 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification)

The above entry requirement apply to international students whose first language is not English. However, they have to obtain an additional certification of IELTS (Academic) or an equivalent 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.

LLB Hons Law Degree at Mont Rose College

Mont Rose College is located at the heart of East London, having provided thousands of students for a better career prospects. Their LLB Hons Law programme focuses on real-time experience as one of the major assessments during the course.

LLB Hons Law course at Mont Rose College is offered in partnership with Buckinghamshire New University, as a full time, level 6 programme. Students are required to complete at least 360 credits during 3-years, as well as attend minimum of 12 hours of attendance per week during each term.

At Mont Rose College, the students are prepared and trained in such a way that they acquire perfect knowledge and understanding of the subject. The course provides them with an in-depth knowledge concerning the main areas of law. We ensure that once our student has successfully completed the degree, they should be able to undertake appropriate, effective researches using paper and electronic sources, work in teams and conduct proper planning of their work.

Like all the other courses at MRC, the LLB Hons Law programme is fully funded by Students Finance.  On top of the tuition fee being covered, the UK and EU students may also apply for a maintenance loan.
